I have to admit that this project was a lot more fun than it looks in these pictures. We started with a fibreglass body kit that had been intended to make VW Beetles look like miniature 18-wheelers, but tried to mate it to a truck instead.

Building the front end wasn't a perfect fit, but really wasn't that difficult. We then built a second trailing axle. This was just a "dummy" from a trailer, and then we threw dual fenders over it as well.

Side tanks, a visor, vertical exahaust, and other touches were planned as well, but I ran into a hardcore truck-lover who offered me enough that I passed the project on to him.
