When I bought my Delorean, it was had a candy apple laquer on it. It looked really nice -- you could see the stainless steel "grain" through the paint -- but I wanted it to be pure stainless and stripped it down.

This is one of the best designed cars I've owned. It's incredibly comfortable, everything worked perfectly... I can't say enough nice things about it. It's the best highway cruiser I've ever owned.

My only complaint about the Delorean is that it's dramatically underpowered (130 HP), making it no fun for city driving by maniacs. I'd planned to swap in a Northstar V8 (it fits nicely), but eventually decided I didn't want to commit myself financially and sold the car.
