With an extensive education, and extensive body art, she bucks the norm
at every turn. Whilst bearing over a dozen piercings, and about the same
number of tattoos, she still manages to keep a heavy work schedule, both
in adult and
mainstream. Whether as a fashion or fetish model, she captivates both
her viewer, and her photographer, and it shows.
Her commentary on her body modifications follows:
The same forces that are trying to re-criminalize abortion, and argue the obscenity of adult and fetish film, are the ones who would call me a deviant for my body art. I, for one, feel that this urge to affect ones own personal choices, on other peoples bodies, and minds, is living proof that fascism is alive and well in America.
When I tattooed myself for the first time (many of my pieces are my own work, and some were done by friends in the tattoo/body modification sector) I felt an intense feeling of reawakening. I was making this choice, and change to myself, for myself. It was no one elses, simply mine, a part of me. That is the beauty of it, it is of no one elses influence.
All my work is original, and of personal meaning. My tongue piercing was a reclaimation of my body, after being diagnosed with cancer some time ago. It was incredibly cathartic.
The tattoo on the back of my neck, is the motto from my family
crest. Translated from Latin, it means "We dare defend our rights.". What
a better expression of the stand I have taken, by involving myself in the
adult film industry than that? I got that piece less than a year before
entering the adult film business, and it signifies all I am trying to accomplish
while a part of it."
