Janeen's Modifications

My name is Janeen Heath and I am proud to be among the ranks of modified librarians. You can reach me at my business e-mail address - janeen.m.heath@bakernet.com, where I am currently the Director of Library Services for the law firm of Baker & McKenzie in the Dallas, Texas Office.

Beyond my simple ear piercings (1 in the right ear and 3 in the left), I have a lovely tattoo of the tao symbol of balance, the ying-yang, on my right shoulder. I had this work done in 1991 at a seedy little place on Harry Hines Blvd. in Dallas years before there were tattoo studios on every corner, and just after I got my first librarian job as the Tax Librarian for Dresser Industries. I had been reading the Tao and feeling that my life was finally in harmony after years of conflict, I commemorated my happiness in ink. It's a bit faded now, and so much a part of me that I am amazed when people are so shocked to find that I am a tattooed librarian. I guess a bun and sensible shoes just never were my style. ;-)

I am also the webmaster of a law librarian website for the CRIV committee of the American Association of Law Librarians. If you ever need assistance with an issue concerning your library and a legal information publisher or vendor, please come and visit us at http://www.aallnet.org/committee/criv/

Thank you for developing this site and allowing me to grace its pages.
