Amber's Modifications
I have a teaching credential for Library Media Services, and a Masters Degree In Library and Information Science. I used to be the Library Media Teacher at San Mateo High School (for the past 4 years) but I am now at Woodside High School. It's about 30 minutes south of San Francisco, CA.
I got most (but not all) of my artwork before I became a LMT. I travel a lot...exploring the world is one of my passions, along with scuba diving. My first tattoo was a tiny heart near my pubic area. My second was a tiny star on my ankle put on my my roommate in the Loony Bin (it's O.K...I'm cured now). My first husband hated both and talked me into removing them. After we divorced, I had this wild dream where the scar from my tattoo on my ankle gave birth to a phoenix who flew me out the skylight away from my husband. I went and got the phoenix tattoo on my shoulder the very next morning. I guess you could say it was a symbol of my rebirth.
The celtic triangle on my chest was put on about 10 years ago by Viviane Lazonga in San Francisco. I have a celtic bracelt and anklet put on my Pat Fish in San Diego. I have a dolphin that turns into a snake on my right wrist that I got on Gili Aire in Indonesia. I have a tribal tattoo on my left wrist that I got about 4 years ago in Costa Rica. A dolphin near my pubic area is from Hawaii. I had my belly button pierced about 2 years ago, and the tattoo around it done in Israel last summer.
My ears have been pierced for years. I used to have them pierced everytime I went through a "rite of passage". Now I'm almost 40 years old, and two divorces, one child and three marriages later I stopped doing that. I ran out of ear space. I started taking them out when I went through a rite of passage! That's why I used to have 15 in my left ear and now I only have 10.
