The designs listed below are one-of-a-kind originals, not flash. They will be sold only once, and copies kept by me only for display in my personal portfolio (not on the net or any other public forum where they may be copied). To maintain the integrity of these designs, some will only be sold under specified conditions (matched set, for women only, for men only, etc). The thumbnails below are intentionally small and lacking in detail. This helps to prevent copying of the designs.

In addition, the price of these designs includes 2 professional-qualtiy 8x10 color photos (no poloroid quickies here, please). The first photo is to be a full-body (or at least waist-shot) showing the tattoo in relation to the whole body. The second is to be a close-up of just the area covered by the tattoo. If the design is such that it wraps around the body, hiding a significant portion from a single camera view, an additional one or two photos, as needed, should be added.

With very few exeptions, I am willing make small modifications in any design to make it better fit to your body and your tastes. In most cases, choice of colors (if part of the design) is up to the collector.

Caryatid
(part of a set, though can be sold individually)
This design is for a woman only


A caryatid is an architectural column designed to look like a young woman. These columns held up huge stone buildings, in defiance of the form they represented. This design takes from that concept and uses architectural elements to show the inherent strength of the female spirit and body.

The design is a full back rendering, with large elements along the ribs, and a 'belt' which wraps from the base of the spine to either side of the navel. The coining (large stone blocks which define the corner of a building) are done in shadings of the collector's skin tones, making them appear as though the ribs are actually taking this shape. The remainder of the design is done in tones of grey shading, giving it a stone-like look.

The design of the pediment (the triangle at the top) leaves room for the addition of a personal icon or simple design within the medalion at the center. The curve of the lower coining, as well as the bottom of the column should conform to the shape of the collector's body. Minor adjustments may be made to help fit the design to the collector's body and personality.

Cathedral

This design is for a man only


Cathedral is a gothic rose window. It's purpose is to show the spiritual and artistic sides of a man; that aspects of grace and beauty do not preclude strength or masulinity. As with "Caryatid" the over-all shape of this design should be altered slightly to fit the body of the collector. The outer stone of the design is to be in grey shadings which give it a stone-like quality. The window lead is to be of a darker grey, while the colors of the window panes is up to the discretion of the collector.
